I love Del Rio, I’ve never been disappointed here. My food is always hot and ready to go, never dry or over cooked! The staff is always friendly and on point, they always seem to care for their customers, forget the chain restaurants and support small business!

We come every so often for the Sunday brunch buffet which the boys really enjoy. It ain't gourmet by any means but there's a LOT to choose from and it's decent enough and a pretty good value.

My favorite Mexican restaurant with great food, service and prices. Restaurant is laid out with a quieter area for conversations and an area by the bar that you can enjoy live entertainment. There are also a sections that can be opened for more outdoor type seating. Food is plentiful and delicious. My new favorite is the Mexican Bowl. Prices are excellent with a couple getting out for less than $25 with a drink. Service is excellent with the bar making personal drinks for customers. Live entertainment on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. There can be a wait at peak times, but well worth it. Truly a favorite of locals.

The service was wonderful. The food and drinks were great, but don't order their chicken soup. When our soup came out, it was warm and we asked for the soup to be heated, the soup came back just the same. Otherwise it was great.

Came here on a Friday night and the band was great! Food was delicious! Best fried plantains. Great price for margaritas. Overall just a great atmosphere. Will be back!

First time here and I was impressed that the menu gave many Americans item too, like cheeseburgers and hot wings. I had the hot wings which were a little hotter than other places hot wings but we're very good. Also, lots of soecail activities, we played poker for a couple of hours after eating and had a great time.

Awesome place overall. Has a more family-oriented, traditional side and a bar/pub type area that has tons of TVs and more of a party vibe. Food is pretty good. Standard Mexican fare, but nothing that will blow you away. Unique appetizer options. A little on the pricey side for what you get. Service can be inconsistent at times. Sometimes great, others not so much. Overall a good local option.

I love this restaurant and never miss an opportunity to stop by when I'm in town. Sadly, good Mexican food is hard to come by in the north side of Chicago. I wish the owners would consider opening a sister restaurant in Chitown!

The service is NOT GOOD. While the food was good, the service was unacceptable for paying customers. Doesn't give you the drink you ordered until the very end of your meal, this has happened multiple times. And when we mentioned to our waitress that she never gave us the drink she went and got one without us saying that we wanted to drink it (after all our friends had paid and were ready to leave) and proceeded to try to charge us for it. We told her we weren't going to drink it (especially after our friends had left and were waiting for us). On top of that, our chips were not refilled for 10+ minutes we had to ask passingby waiters to get us one, and our water was not refilled.Completely unprofessional of the waitress but even the manager. The manager just made excuses about being understaffed and that the waitress is not "the greatest". People go out to eat for the experience, this place doesn't deliver a good one.

Prompt and friendly service, ordered the tri-color enchilada platter - beans were nice and flavorful as was the rice, the ground beef was pretty mushy almost like a paste... The big shocker was the shredded chicken which was pretty tough almost like jerky or pulled pork. Probably got overcooked and smothered in sauce.Sopapillas were a nice treat as well, but pretty crunchy and dry compared to the fluffy kind that I’m used to. Pretty sweet even without the chocolate sauce and whipped cream.

We went there on 7/17 and Crystal was our server. We intended on sitting at the bar with Katie but the bar was super full. Nonetheless,ni asked for a guacamole, which the server said, "the dip or the BIG one". I was thinking she meant like a size difference, not 2 actually different varieties of guacamole. So, we ordered the dip. Whenever the dip came out, I said, "oh no, I thought it was a guacamole with tomatoes, onions and stuff in it?" She said, "no no thats the big one I was talking about." I politely apologized and asked to have the other one. She brought it out and it was delicious. We were happy, food was good, drinks were good. The only complaint I have is that the server charged us for guacamole dip and the guacamole mex. I would've gladly paid for the dip had we actually touched it or ate into it, but we didn't. My husband said not to say anything about it, but I feel that like we shouldn't have paid for it!

Food was great. Our waitress needed a better attitude. She did the absolute bare minimum in serving us today. She wasn't wearing a name tag so I don't know who she was. I will go back for the food and fingers crossed we get a different server. Price was good for the serving size.

Food is always good. Drinks are reasonably priced and high quality. I highly recommend the wings! Great price and many different flavors. We came for lunch recently and the lunch was fresh and plentiful. One of my favorites in the area.

Definitely not practicing social distancing. Was in booth. People in booth on both sides of me. Tables next to me full too. Got food within 3 minutes of ordering. Tried something different, shrimp tacos. Was suck HR later.

The food is great. We had fajitas for one and it was more than enough for 2. The margaritas are very good. They easily accommodated our large group. The service was good and the prices are very reasonable.

This was our second time visiting Del Rio Mexican Grill. The food was good the first time and it was good this time but I ordered "The Mexican Bowl", the presentation of the dish was terrible; all the food packed in a large round bowl - I didn't know what was all in it! The manager was very nice n brought me the same dish but in a bunch of small black condiments bowls! They had live music but we couldn't enjoy it because they sat us on the other side of the building! I think if you're going to have live music...make convenient for everyone. Will I return...yes! Will I order the same dish...most likely! Sharing my opinion; not complaining 😘

Wednesday night is wing night. 20 wings for $9.99. Now that's a deal. My wife had a chicken quesadilla and it was huge (not to mention tasty). We've got food leftover for another meal and I can guarantee it will be eaten. There was also live music there tonight and the young man with guitar was very talented. Good food. Good music. Good atmosphere. And GREAT service too.

Best Mexican we have found in the area. Good service (we were there for an early dinner). Had the cheese steak burrito out of curiosity. It was very good and the only negative was the steak was slightly overcooked. Great quality ingredients for everything we ordered.

This place truly knocked my socks off. I reserve, as mentioned in my other reviews, a five-star rating for the absolute best. I had a great time here with my best friend. Everything went so well, and the staff was incredible. It is a huge place, but every square inch is well-maintained and really top-notch. It is a classy Mexican restaurant that is truly impressive. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I had steak soft tacos, which were awesome.If this review helped you, please give it a “like.”

My wife and I had a fun experience here watching NFL football. The other fans were fun to be around as well while watching the games. Also, our bartender Katie was awesome! She made sure she got my team on one of the TVs and took great care of multiple customers. Definitely coming back to watch more football!

Good food, drinks and music. The "Fly Betty Band" was in the house and there were alot of people dancing and enjoying the music. The waiter ( maybe Josh) was awesome. The only thing that got mixed up was at the end of night. We returned to the table after a dance and it had been cleared. We had some goodies to take home and they were gone. The manager took care of us on that so, all ends well. Thanks for a great evening Del Rio Mexican Grill!!!

Are at the Sunday buffet. A very good and wide selection of foods at a very reasonable price. I especially liked the shrimp and the breakfast foods!
